Abstract:
To provide a light-emitting element and a light-emitting element package.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element includes: a sapphire substrate having a surface on a light extraction surface side and a rear surface on a side opposite to the surface; a first conductivity type semiconductor layer laminated on the surface of the sapphire substrate; a luminescent layer laminated on the first conductivity type semiconductor layer; a second conductivity type semiconductor layer laminated on the luminescent layer; a reflection layer containing Ag, arranged on a rear surface side of the sapphire substrate, and reflecting light from the sapphire substrate toward the surface of the sapphire substrate; a bonding layer arranged between the sapphire substrate and the reflection layer, made of ITO, and bonding to the reflection layer; and a conductive multilayer reflection mirror arranged between the sapphire substrate and the bonding layer and bonded to the reflection layer through the bonding layer. The conductive multilayer reflection mirror has a first multilayer reflection mirror part, a second multilayer reflection mirror part, and a third multilayer reflection mirror part that are each constructed by alternately laminating two kinds of layers having a refractive index difference and whose thicknesses are different from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
