Abstract:
To provide a molten metal holding furnace which unites a heat dissipating property with a heat retaining property to the desirable degree.SOLUTION: A penetration insertion hole of a molten metal holding furnace has an inner cylinder part (tapered surface) and an outer cylindrical part (cylindrical surface). A heating tube has a tip side cylinder part 35 corresponding to the inner cylinder part and a base end side cylinder part 36 corresponding to the outer cylinder part. The heating tube is inserted to a penetration insertion hole and positioned while locating the tip side cylinder part 35 on the inner cylinder part and locating the base end side cylinder part 36 on the outer cylinder part, and filler is filled between the heating tube and the penetration insertion hole. A tapered surface of the tip side cylinder part 35 is formed as a pseudo tapered surface by arranging tapered cylinder surface and non-tapered cylinder surface alternately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
