Abstract:
To provide a hydrogen manufacturing system for producing hydrogen at high yield via a binary hydrogen manufacturing process with a modification process and an oxidation reduction process from a by-production gas generated in a steel process or a coal chemical process in a steel mill, and a manufacturing method.SOLUTION: There is provided a hydrogen manufacturing system 1 including a modifier 50 for inputting steam (HO) to a by-product gas generated in a steel process or a coal chemical process to modify the by-product gas, a separator 70 for separating a reduction gas and a hydrogen gas (H) from a modified gas supplied from the modifier, a first reactor 100 for reducing ferric oxide (III) (FeO) to iron oxide (II) (FeO) by using the reduction gas supplied from the separator, and a second reactor 200 for mixing steam (HO) with the iron oxide (II) (FeO) supplied from the first reactor to generate black iron oxide (ferrous ferric oxide, FeO) and a hydrogen gas (H).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
