Abstract:
To generate an image with reduced image quality deterioration that occurs in a moving object region when a plurality of images captured with different exposure times are combined.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus (400) includes exposure time control means (401, 407) that controls a plurality of exposure times for imaging a subject, image acquisition means (403) that acquires a plurality of captured images obtained by time-divisionally capturing the subject with a plurality of exposure times, synthesizing means (405) that synthesizes the plurality of captured images to generate an HDR image, and calculation means (406) that calculates a deterioration value of the image quality due to the afterimage of the subject in the HDR image on the basis of at least the captured image and the HDR image, and the exposure time control means (401, 407) selects an exposure time at which the deterioration value becomes lower than a predetermined threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
