Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a mechanism for a fine adjustment for an alignment and the fine adjustment unnecessary and to simplify the structure, by sticking optically a liquid crystal light bulbs to a dichroic prism. CONSTITUTION:Liquid crystal light bulbs 8R, 8G and 8B are stuck to a dichroic prism 9. As an alignment, the size of four pieces of rectangular prisms is uniform, therefore, a distance from a projection lens 12 to the liquid crystal light bulbs 8R, 8G and 8B become constant, and they are positioned in a position of a back-focal distance of the projection lens 12. As for a position relation between the upper and lower, and the right and left picture elements, the alignment is executed by radiating a light beam of a light source 1, or by a laser light. The respective picture elements of the liquid crystal light bulbs 8R, 8G and 8B are superposed on a screen, stuck and fixed. In such a way, thereafter, a color shift, a color shade, etc. caused by a picture element shift are not generated, the maintenance also becomes unnecessary, and it will suffice that the alignment only is executed in the manufacturing process, therefore, the structure is simplified.
