Abstract:
PURPOSE:To retrieve sentences without having grammatical knowledge by providing the dictionary of a first expression style and the dictionary of a second expression style and retrieving character strings conformable to the expression in a Japanese sentence while retrieving a designated dictionary when the expression to be retrieved is designated. CONSTITUTION:A retrieving condition input section 3 designates whether [desu, masu] expression is to be retrieved or [dearu] expression is to be retrieved and sends to a sentence retriving device 7. A sentence retrieving section 9 reads the sentence from a sentence storing section 6 by a sentence developing section 12, and retrieves either of a [desu, masu] expression dictionary 10 or a [dearu] expression dictionary 11, and retrieves a character string in the sentence conformable with the character string. When the character string of the sentence conforms with character string of a designated dictionary, conformable position of the sentence and expression of the conformable dictionary are outputted by a retrieval result output section 13, and relevant character string is displayed on the relevant position of a retrieval relevant position display section 5.
