Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce in a short time by arranging a plurality of outside plate members forming a body structure block in parallel on a jig, arranging frame members on respective ribs in the outside plate members after they are bound and welded, and binding and welding the frame members.
SOLUTION: In production of a body structure block such as a side body structure in a vehicle, first of all, multiple outside plate members 2-4 forming the side body structure are arranged parallelly in the width direction on the supporting face of a jig 1, which is formed while matched with the surface of the side body structure, so as to be bound together. Then, toward the respective outside plate members 2-4, welding 11 continuing in the vehicle body longitudinal direction is applied from the inside, that is, the side on which a rib 13 is formed, and the outside plate members 2-4 are connected together. Subsequently, a side column 9 serving as a frame member is arranged on the inside faces of the respective outside plate members 2-4 so as to bind the outside plate members 2-4. Welding 11a is applied between the respective ribs 13 in the respective outside plate members 2-4 and the side column 9 so as to connect them together.
