To provide an imaging device in which a plurality of setting items are manually set with good efficiency without making any operation failure although a small number of operation switches are used.
In a screen P11 of manual setting mode, set values are changed through dial operation (step S301) and when an operation key is pressed for a short time, a setting item whose set value is to be changed is switched between automatic setting mode and manual setting mode (steps S302, S303). When the operation key is pressed for a prescribed time or longer, a screen P13 wherein a setting item whose set value is to be changed is selected appears (step S304 or S307). In this screen P13, a setting item is selected by moving a cursor through dial operation (step S305) and determined by pressing the operation key (step S306), so that the selected setting item is placed in manual setting mode.
