Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when a digital camera or the like displays various parameters on the camera itself, if the parameters are confirmed by accessing a communication card, the frequency of access to the card is increased.SOLUTION: When the type of data to be displayed is a type of data which can be transmitted by a memory card with a communication function, an inquiry is made to the memory card with the communication function, and display of the data is controlled based on a result of the inquiry. When the type of the data to be displayed is not a type of data which can be transmitted by the memory card with the communication function, no inquiry is made to the memory card with the communication function.
