Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The title derivative of formula I [R1 is (protected) carboxyl; R2 is (protected) hydroxy lower alkyl; R3 and R4 are each H or lower alkyl; R5 is (substituted) unsaturated heterocycle] or its salt acceptable as a medicine.
EXAMPLE: 2-(N-allyloxycarbonyl-N-methylaminomethyl)-4-ethoxycarbonyl thiazole.
USE: Anti-fungus agents, being highly effective on a great variety of pathogenic microorganisms.
PREPARATION: For example, a compound of formula II (R6 is lower alkoxy or aryl) or its salt is put to ring closure reaction to obtain the objective com pound of the formula I.
