Abstract:
To detect an abnormality of a thermostat in a hybrid vehicle such as a PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle).
ECU (10) acquires data related to a temperature (Tw) of cooling water heated by a heater (13) by a temperature sensor, and determines whether the temperature (Tw) of the heated cooling water is raised to a criterion temperature (T1) specified based on input power P supplied to the heater 13 from a power supply 15 (step S30) or higher. If the temperature (Tw) of cooling water is raised to the criterion temperature (T1) or higher, it is determined that the thermostat (12) operates normally.
