Abstract:
This abnormality determination device determines an abnormality in the sheet width of a rolled material 1 that has been rolled by a rolling mill, the abnormality determination device comprising: a camera 81 which captures an image including the rolled material 1; and an image processing unit 91 which determines an abnormality in the sheet width on the basis of the image captured by the camera 81. The image processing unit 91 determines that an abnormal section, where the sheet width narrows, is present when the change rate of the sheet width (W0-W)/W0 becomes equal to or exceeds a threshold value. W0 is the sheet width of a rolled stationary section of the rolled material 1, and W is the sheet width of the rolled material 1 at a section sequentially captured by the camera 81. Due to this configuration, the following are provided: an abnormality determination device which can uniformly determine an abnormality in the sheet width of a metal strip of any width; a control device for a rolling mill; rolling equipment; an abnormality determination method; and a control method.
