To obtain a coating composition having a high curing rate and improved storage stability and giving a cured product having a high hardness, reduced coloration and improved adhesion and abrasion resistance by incorporating at least trifunctional polyacrylate with N-vinylacetamide.
This composition comprises 30-95 wt.%, desirably, 50-90 wt.% at least trifunctional polyacrylate, 5-70 wt.%, desirably, 5-50 wt.% n- vinylacetamide and, optionally, 0.1-10 wt.%, desirably, 1-5 wt.% polymerization initiator, and 0-40 wt.%, desirably, 0-30 wt.% ethylenically unsaturated compound selected among tetrahydrofuryl (meth)acrylate, carbitol (meth)acrylate, acryloylmorpholine, N-vinylcaprolactam, phenoxyethyl (meth)acrylate, isobornyl (meth)acrylate, tricyclodecane (meth)acrylate, tripropylene glycol di(meth) acrylate, etc.
