Title:
AIR FRAME NOSE FAIRING SEPARATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3770430
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow no deterioration of the attitude stability of a missile, and separate a nose fairing without hitting an embarkation apparatus or the like by regulating so as not to generate rotation movement through a regulation means when the joining state of first fairing half body and second fairing half body is released.
SOLUTION: First fairing half body 30 and second fairing half body 40 forming a nose fairing are joined mutually on the division faces Ls, and hold members 31, 32 holding energizing means, regulation means, and the like are respectively fixed to the inside faces of the respective half bodies 30, 40. By releasing a joining state, both fairing half bodies 30, 40 are respectively pushed out in reverse directions P1, P2 by the energizing force of a compression spring so as to start separating movement. Since a cylindrical member 43 is guided through a guide member 33 by a predetermined distance L only in the extending direction of the cylindrical member, both fairing half bodies 30, 40 are not allowed to conduct rotation movement against a fuselage part 70, and are separated by only parallel movement.
