Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly align globular agricultural products by vibrating them in the vertical direction and making it easy to separate them from each other by constituting a conveyor of a vibrating feeder.
SOLUTION: While an orange 2a on a vibrating feeder 6 of an alignment conveyor 5 tries to advance in accordance with its conveying speed, an orange 2b making contact with a side plate 7 in a stationary state tries to stop by its abrasion resistance. Consequently, the orange 2b cuts in on the upstream side of the orange 2a and moves onto the vibrating feeder 6. In the meantime, an orange 2c making contact with an inclined conveyor 8 tries to turn around to the downstream side of the orange 2a and move onto the vibrating feeder 6 as its conveying speed is higher than the vibrating feeder 6. In this case, vibration in the vertical direction is applied on the oranges 2a, 2b, 2c by vibration of the vibrating feeder 6. Consequently, the oranges 2a, 2b, 2c are sufficiently separated and properly aligned.
