Abstract:

To provide am inexpensive aluminum alloy die-cast molding which is excellent in dynamic characteristics and in which high strength and high elongation can stably and consistently be obtained even when the molding is applied to automotive body parts or the like and a condition of a high strain rate region such as the case of collision is considered.

As to this aluminum alloy die-cast molding excellent in dynamic characteristics and having a composition containing, by weight, 10 to 12.5% Si, 0.2 to 0.6% Mg, ≤0.25% Fe and 0.003 to 0.01% Sr, further containing 0.01 to 0.25% Ti and 0.0001 to 0.001% B according to circumstances and the balance Al with impurities and subjected to aging treatment after solution treatment, the average value of the diameter of the equivalent circle of eutectic Si is≤1.5μm, and the average value of the circularity coefficient of eutectic Si is ≤0.85.
