Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce an aluminum material for brazing enabling superior brazing without causing inferior brazing, unlike in the case of conventional ones, though it is constituted by forming a brazing filler metal layer on the surface of an aluminum material by means of thermal spraying.
CONSTITUTION: This aluminum material for brazing is constituted by forming a brazing filler metal layer on the surface of an aluminum material by means of thermal spraying. An unmolten structure in the state of many grains exists in the brazing filler metal layer. The aluminum material for brazing can be produced by forming the brazing filler metal layer on the surface of the aluminum material by coating by means of thermal spraying. At this time, thermal spraying is done by using a powder as thermal spraying material, melting only the surface layer part of this powder, and keeping the inner part in an unmolten state.
