Abstract:
To obtain an antimicrobial wad material having good antimicrobial durability, especially good washing durability and provide a bedding using the same.
This antimicrobial wad material comprises a polyester-based antimicrobial short fiber and the polyester-based antimicrobial short fiber is obtained by fiberizing a resin containing a polyester-based resin containing at least 0.05-10 wt.% one or more kinds of phosphite compounds represented by the general formula [R1 is a 4-12C branched alkyl group; R2 represents hydrogen atom, a 1-12C alkyl group, or the like; R3 is hydrogen atom, a 1-12C alkyl group, or the like; R4 and R5 represent each independently a 1-8C alkyl group, or the like] by melt-spinning method.
