To obtain the subject composition containing a specific polyether- modified polysiloxane compound, capable of inhibiting the reaction of staining substances with a coating film, improved in a property for wiping off the staining substances from the coating film, and useful for household electric appliances such as video tape recorders, etc.
This antistaining coating composition comprises (A) a polyester resin, (B) a crosslinking agent, (C) a polyester-modified polysiloxane compound containing OH groups or carboxyl groups and/or a polyether-modified polysiloxane compound containing OH or carboxyl groups, and (D) fluororesin particles as main components. The component B is e.g. a blocked polyisocyanate compound and/or a melamine resin. The component C is e.g. a compound of the formula [R1 is OH, COOH; R2 is CH3, CH3CH2, etc.; R3 is H, OH, etc.; R4 is CH2; (m), (n), (x), (y) are each 1-5], and is used in an amount of 1-3vol.% based on the solid content of the component A. The component C is e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene having a particle diameter of 2.5-5μm, and is used in an amount of 0.1-1vol.%.
