Title:
APPARATUS FOR FORMING MULTISPOT IMAGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3687290
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely adjust an inclination angle by setting a reference emission spot to set the inclination angle when an emission spot array having a plurality of emission spots formed at an equal distance is to be arranged inclining to a main scan line by an angle conforming to the distance and a size.
SOLUTION: A two-dimensional plane emission laser array 1 is provided which has mxn laser spots 11 arranged in a square pattern. A laser light projected from the laser spots 11 scans a circumferential face of a photosensitive drum 4 thereby exposing the drum via a collimator optical system 2a, a polygon mirror 3 and a condenser optical system. In the thus-constituted multispot image- forming apparatus, the laser array 1 is fixed to a laser array base 15 with an inclination of an angle θp to a main scan direction X. The base 15 is set to be rotatable about a rotary shaft 15a and is constituted so that the inclination angle θp is adjustable via a cam 16 rotated via a driving shaft 17a through driving of a motor 17.
