To provide an apparatus and a heat cooking device having a liquid tank, capable of accurately measuring a liquid amount in the liquid tank by a simple composition by using a method for measuring the liquid amount in the liquid tank by weight detection of the liquid tank, in the apparatus wherein the closed type liquid tank is attached to and detached from the side.
A joint part 32 is provided in a tip side of an attaching direction of a closed type supply water tank attached from the side in a body casing 10. A bent part 33 connected to the joint part 32 of the supply water tank 30 is provided in a tip side of a tank holding part 70 detachably holding the supply water tank 30. A rotary shaft 71 turnably supported along a plane substantially in parallel with and substantially perpendicular to an attaching and detaching direction of the supply water tank 30 by the body casing 10 is provided in a bent part 33 neighborhood of the tank holding part 70. A protrusion part 72 transmitting one part of a total weight of the supply water tank 30 and the tank holding part 70 to a detection face of a weight sensor 73 is provided in a rear end side of the tank holding part 70.
