Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent that the driving accuracy of a stepping motor is reduced by changing the inclination of trapezoidal waves according to the driving velocity of the stepping motor and to prevent that a power-supply noise has a bad influence on a screen when the stepping motor is started.
CONSTITUTION: A rectangular driving pulse is waveform-shaped to trapezoidal waves by a waveform shaping means 40, and, in addition, the waveform shaping means 40 can change over the inclination of the waveform of the trapezoidal waves. In addition, a changeover switch 42 can change over the inclination of the trapezoidal waves which are waveform shaped by the waveform shaping means 40 according to the driving velocity of a stepping motor 24. Consequently, since the waveform of the trapezoidal waves according to the driving velocity of the stepping motor 24 can be shaped by utilizing an integration circuit, the driving velocity of the stepping motor 24 can be selected without being regulated by the inclination of the waveform of the trapezoidal waves. In addition, since the timing of the start of the stepping motor 24 is adjusted during the vertical blanking period of a video signal for a video camera, it is possible to prevent that a power-supply noise has a bad influence on an image.
