To provide a water treatment apparatus for treating surfactant-containing raw water being a treatment target produced from the process of producing toner for developing an electrostatic image and reducing a suspended substance (SS) and chemical oxygen demand (COD) in the obtained treated water.
The water treatment apparatus has a flocculation treatment means for performing the flocculation treatment of the surfactant-containing raw water being the treatment target produced from the process of producing the toner for developing the electrostatic image, a fluidized bed type activated carbon adsorbing treatment means for treating the treated water subjected to flocculation treatment, and a fixed bed type activated carbon adsorbing treatment means for treating the treated water from the fluidized bed type activated carbon adsorbing treatment means.
