To provide an apparatus for producing hydrogen peroxide, which can efficiently produce hydrogen peroxide by using an oxygen-containing gas and water, and to provide an air conditioner, an air cleaner and a humidifier, in which hydrogen peroxide produced by the apparatus is used for cleaning.
The apparatus for producing the hydrogen peroxide is provided with: an electrolysis cell 2 which is constituted by an electrolyte membrane 3 having hydrogen-ion conductivity, an anode 4 arranged so as to come in contact with a first surface of the electrolyte membrane 3 and a cathode 5 arranged so as to come in contact with a second surface of the electrolyte membrane 3; an anodic water tank 10 arranged in an anode 4 side of the electrolysis cell 2; a cathodic water tank 11 arranged in a cathode 5 side of the electrolysis cell 2; a water-supplying means for periodically supplying water to the cathode 5; and a direct-current power source 18 for applying direct-current voltage to the anode 4 and the cathode 5. The apparatus can efficiently produce hydrogen peroxide.
