Abstract:
PURPOSE: To inject hormones to an amphibian in a rearing vessel in case of wanting the amphibian to spawn by using a rearing vessel having a structure to enable the safe pressing of an amphibian to one side wall of the rearing vessel and the injection to the pressed amphibian directly from the outside of the vessel.
CONSTITUTION: The objective rearing apparatus is provided with a closed rearing vessel 9 for amphibian having a water-cleaning means 11 and an oxygen- supplying means 12; a flat pressing plate 2 movable to press an amphibian 1 to one side wall of the rearing vessel 9 without damaging the amphibian; and an injection needle insertion port 8 to thrust an injection needle 6 into the pressed amphibian 1' at an angle of ≤45°.
