Abstract:
To provide an aqueous overcoating composition for paper, which has excellent drying properties and is suitable for obtaining printed matter having excellent quality without disturbing productivity even in a solvent composition not containing a volatile organic compound at all when gravure printing is done on various printing papers.
The overcoating composition for paper container includes an acrylic emulsion having a core/shell structure composed of a shell containing styrene, (meth)acrylic acid and 1-10% of a 12-20C long-chain alkyl (meth)acrylate and a core containing styrene and a (meth)acrylate.
