To allow curtain runners to be easily attached to/detached from a curtain pole or a curtain rail without removing caps attached on both ends of the curtain pole or the curtain rail.

A curtain pole 11 is formed columnar or almost columnar, or cylindrical or almost cylindrical, and ring-shaped curtain runners 12 are loosely fit to the curtain pole 11. The curtain runners 12 are provided for suspending a curtain movably along the pole 11. A notched part 12a is formed in each runner 12 by notching a part of the ring shape thereof. A part of each runner 12 is configured to be elastically deformable so that the opening of the notched part 12a has a size smaller than the outer diameter of the pole 11 when each runner 12 is loosely fit to the pole 11, and a size larger than the outer diameter of the pole 11 when each runner 12 is attached to/detached from the pole 11.
