Abstract:
To obtain a boarding/alighting assistance device that can support the boarding and alighting of a bus of a wheelchair user in response to multiple types of busses having different floor height while facilitating stop of the bus in a bus stop where a slope is installed.SOLUTION: A bridge 22 to be bridged to a doorway 12A of a bus 12 from a slope 14 installed to a bus stop 10 has a rotating plate part 24 and an elastic passage part 30. The rotating plate part 24 is continuously arranged in an end 14B of the top side of the slope 14 continuously, and is rotatably supported around an axis line along the vertical direction. Also, the elastic passage part 30 is continuously formed to the rotating plate part 24 and a tip 30A side becomes the side to be connected with the doorway 12A, and therefore is displaced according to the rotation of the rotating plate part 24, and further is configured elastically in the longitudinal direction. Then, a portion of the tip 30A side of the elastic passage part 30 is supported and elevated by a jack in a height-adjustable manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
