Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment, optical fiber core holding structure, and optical connector that have a high workability and allow a grip member to hold even an optic fiber having no jacket, such as an optical fiber core.SOLUTION: An attachment 1 is a member for holding an optical fiber core. The attachment 1 is a member having a substantially rectangular cross section. A slit 3 is formed so as to extend from one side surface on the narrow side of the attachment 1. The slit 3 extends from the one side beyond the center in the width direction. In other words, the length of the slit 3 is longer than 1/2 of the width of the attachment 1. A holding portion 5 is disposed at a substantially center of attachment 1. The holding portion 5 includes recesses formed in inner surfaces (opposite surfaces) of the slit 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
