PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attention arousing pavement structure for arousing an attention to an operator on a specific event such as backward travel.SOLUTION: An attention arousing pavement structure comprises a plurality of grooves 10, 10, etc. of extending in the direction for crossing in the travel direction with a road surface and a sign part 15 formed on one wall surface 12 of the plurality of grooves 10, 10, etc., and is constituted so as to become a character or a pattern by combining the plurality of sign parts 15, 15, etc. A second sign part (unillustrated) is formed on the other wall surface 13 opposed to the one wall surface 12, and is constituted so as to become a character or a pattern different from the character or the pattern by combining the plurality of second sign parts.
