Abstract:
To provide a useful technique for diagnosing bile duct cancer, which may be more sensitive than bile cytology and less invasive than bile duct biopsy.SOLUTION: There are provided: a biomarker of bile duct cancer in bile consisting of one or more specific proteins; a method for inspecting bile duct cancer, which comprises analyzing the amount of one or more specific proteins in a bile-containing sample obtained from a subject; and diagnostic reagents for bile duct cancer, including means for analyzing the amount of one or more specific proteins.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
