PURPOSE: To suppress oscillation of a blade to reduce the chatter by attaching one end of an elastic plate, which has a weight in the free end side, to a blade holding material or the blade.

CONSTITUTION: A blade holding member 3 is provided with a spring 5 in the end part and is turned clockwise around a supporting shaft 4 and presses a cleaning blade 2 to a toner image recording material 1. An elastic plate-shaped material 6 consisting of rubber or the like is stuck and supported in the side opposite to the cleaning blade supporting face of the blade holding member 3, and a weight 7 is placed in the free end side of this plate-shaped material 6. When the toner image recording material 1 is turned in the direction of an arrow, a remaining toner on the recording material 1 is scraped by the edge part of the cleaning blade 2 and is dropped to a toner recovery part (omitted in the figure).
