Abstract:
To provide a cap unit which enables reduction of a dimension of a portion, protruding to the upper side of a cap unit, of a stored ring member, and to provide a beverage container.SOLUTION: A cap unit 3A is attached to a neck part of a container body 2A which is open at an upper part and includes: a cap body 9 which closes an upper opening of the container body 2A; an annular ring member 11 disposed on the upper side of the cap body 9; and a hinge 12 which connects the ring member 11 with the cap body 9 in a manner that the ring member 11 may rotate around a hinge center axis A. The cap body 9 has a recessed or groove-like storage recessed part 9c recessed from a top wall part 9b of the cap body 9. In a state in which the ring member 11 is stored and a lower surface of the ring member 11 and the top wall part 9b face each other, at least a part of the ring member 11 is stored in the storage recessed part 9c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
