This test piece for detecting a specimen in a liquid sample includes an analyzing part, a first end part having a first end part depression and a second end part having a second end part depression. A first capillary tube passage, constituted so as to make a liquid pass across the first end part depression and the analyzing part and a second capillary tube passage constituted so as to pass the liquid across the second end part depression and the analyzing part are provided to the test piece. There is also a combination of the test piece for detecting the specimen in the liquid sample and a meter.
