PURPOSE: To surely prevent the theft for a car stereoplayer by installing a lock means which can be freely engaged with a case, a releasing means for releasing the engagement, and a control means for permitting the release in accordance with the key switch of a vehicle, on a car stereoplayer body.
CONSTITUTION: When a driver turns on a key switch 23, and, for example, a tape FF key 8 and REW key 9 for a car stereoplayer are operated at the same time, a microprossor 22 turns on a transistor 21 for a prescribed time, and a plunger 20 is supplied with electricity. Then, the suppressing part 14 of a lock plate 10 installed on a car stereoplayer body side is released from the engagement with the control part 19 of a control plate 18. When a steering wheel 15 is turned, the lock plate 10 is turned in the clockwise direction, and an engagement part 12 is released from the engagement with an engagement hole formed on a case side. When the steering wheel 15 is pulled, the car stereoplayer can be demounted from the case.
