PURPOSE: To provide a carburetor for a 2-cycle engine which can attain an effective supply of oil to the carburetor without changing a basic structure of the conventional carburetor and without worsening the other function.
CONSTITUTION: In a carburetor of throttle valve link type, an oil passage (supply oil passage) 20 of supplying oil toward a piston valve 18 is formed by providing directivity toward a central part 19a in a venturi part 19 of the carburetor. In a peripheral side surface of the piston valve 18 of cylindrical shape, a groove is formed along an operating direction of the piston valve 18 in a position opposed to an opening 20a of the oil passage 20. Further the groove is made to agree with a valve notched part for operation by a throttle stop screw 24 in a throttle valve circumferential direction.
