Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency of an unmanned carrier and at the same time to secure a smooth operation of the carrier despite the trouble of a control computer, by transmitting the information on a carrying destination directly to the carrier from a carrying pallet. CONSTITUTION:A carrying pallet 3 stores the carrying destination information of a work 1 and this information is displayed by a display device 4. While an unmanned carrier 2 reads the information displayed on the device 4 by a reader 5 and processes this information to decide the carrying destination of the carrier 2. The processed information is sent to said station through a carrying route 6 together with the pallet 3. In such a way, the information on the carrying destination is sent directly to the carrier 2 from the pallet 3 so that no return is required to a station containing a signal transmitter for each end of the carrying job. Thus it is possible to improve the working efficiency of the carrier 2 and also to ensure a smooth operation of the carrier 2 despite the trouble of a control computer.
