Title:
CAST-IN METHOD FOR SINTERED MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01273660
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent fusion and crack by forming a sintered material with the specific composition of a forming material or steel member and the specific composition of wear resistant forming body, fitting the sintered material to a mold and casting molten metal to use thin sintered member, which can prevent rapid cooling and solidification of the molten metal.

CONSTITUTION: The forming body 1A composing of high m.p. ferrous alloy powder containing ≤0.3wt.% P, ≤1.5% Mo, ≤0.4% C and ≤13.5% Cr is obtd. Successively, the wear resistant forming body 2a composing of ferrous eutectic alloy powder containing 0.5W1.5wt.% P, 3.5W7.0% Mo, 1W3% C and 5W10% Cr are formed. By sintering and joining the forming material 1A and the wear resistant forming material 2a, the sintered material 3 is formed. By fitting the sintered material 3 to the mold 4 and by casting the molten ferrous metal, the complex sintered member 3 is cast-in.
