Abstract:

To provide a chain vise device that can stably fix a workpiece irrespective of a shape and a dimension and can be made compact, and a band saw including the chain vise device.SOLUTION: A chain vise device 10 for stretching a chain 16 across a workpiece WK includes: a base part 24 in which a chain 16 is stored, the base part 24 including a placement part 14 in which the workpiece WK is placed; a chain guide 54 and a chain stopper 60 arranged in the base part 24 for fixing the chain 16 in one side of the placement part 14; and a hook 48 arranged in the base part 24 for fixing the chain 16 in the other side of the placement part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
