CONSTITUTION: When a function key (recall key) to select a channel is depressed among channels with a long viewing time, an arithmetic processing section 35 outputs plural host channel numbers (or broadcast stations registered in advance) and data relating to a selection number required to select the channel, that is, information D for channel selection to a CRT display control section 38 and displays the information on the screen of a CRT 7 via an RGB driving circuit 6. When a ten-key or the like corresponding to the selection number in such a state is depressed, the arithmetic processing section 35 outputs channel selection information C corresponding to the designated channel, and stops the output of the information D for channel selection.
