Title:
CIGAR CUTTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1157249
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure excellent safety in the handling of a cutter blade and to make a cutter compact enough to carry around. SOLUTION: This cutter is so designed that when a first holding frame body 11 is raised during use by raising both sides of the horizontal basic part 26 of a first grip member 25, one end 36b of a positioning pin 36 is locked into an upper locking recess 10b as it is exerted with the pressure of an annular elastic ring 37. When the first grip member 25 is rotated about a support pin 29 under these conditions, the first grip member 25 goes out of a case 10. A cutter blade 14 is moved upward by the upward movement of the first holding frame body 11 and opens an opening 10a in the case 10, and by putting the end of a cigar into the opening 10a and depressing the first grip member 25, the cutter blade 14 is moved, cutting the end of the cigar C.
