Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost clutch to ensure release of a clutch.
SOLUTION: In a clutch mechanism to transmit rotation of an input sleeve 32A to an output sleeve 34 through the inner periphery of a coil spring 38 in a tension state, when rotation of the input sleeve 32A to the output sleeve 34 is released, the spring 38 is forcibly rotated and loosened. Since incomplete release of the spring 38 during release of the clutch is brought into complete release, a friction force between the spring 38 and the input sleeve 32A is reduced, provision of a decreased life for the spring 38 and the input sleeve 32A is prevented and the generation of slide noise (foreign noise) between the spring 38 and the input sleeve 32A. Further, since there is no need for the use of an individual electromagnetic clutch and independent motor, a cost is not increased.
