Abstract:
To provide a coal transport facility capable of continuously operating a coal-fired power plant even when coal cannot be carried out from a coal storage yard by a carrying-out device.SOLUTION: A coal transport facility 2 comprises: a first transport device 7 for transporting coal of a coal receiving yard 3; a second transport device 10 which transports the coal transported by the first transport device 7 or the coal carried out from an outdoor coal storage yard 4 to supply to an intermediate coal storage vessel 5; a loading/carrying-out device 9 which loads the coal transported by the first transport device 7 on the outdoor coal storage yard 4 and further carries out the coal loaded on the outdoor coal storage yard 4 to the second transport device 10; and a third transport device 13 which transports the coal supplied to the intermediate coal storage vessel 5 to supply to a coal burning boiler 6. The facility further comprises one or more coal throwing-in devices 16 which throw in the coal transported by one or more mobile transporting body 15 transporting the coal stored in the outdoor coal storage yard 4 while moving, into at least one of the first transport device 7 and the second transport device 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
