Abstract:
To provide a coil-like fiber manufacturing device capable of fully automatically manufacturing a coil-like fiber of stable quality.SOLUTION: A coil-like fiber manufacturing device comprises: a rotation unit 1 that includes a feed thread bobbin 101 and a thread gripping mechanism 2 for adding a twist to a fiber; a winding unit that includes a winding bobbin 102 for winding a formed coil-like fiber; a tension maintenance mechanism 72 for applying fixed tension to the fiber yet to be wound on the winding bobbin 102; a thread length detection unit 73 provided between the thread gripping mechanism 2 and the winding bobbin 102; and a thread diameter detection unit 74 provided between the thread gripping mechanism 2 and the tension maintenance mechanism 72. The fiber is gripped and released by the thread gripping mechanism 2 in accordance with a fiber length detected between the thread gripping mechanism 2 and the winding bobbin 102 by the thread length detection unit 73. The formed coil-like fiber is wound by a fixed length on the winding bobbin 102 in accordance with a fiber diameter detected by the thread diameter detection unit 74.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
