Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain rigidity of a coupler and to enhance reliability of a device by clamping a coil frame at a carriage at one side surface of a seeking direction end of the carriage and at one surface of a recorder in its thickness direction. CONSTITUTION:A carriage 5 is operated to seek linearly in the radial direction of an information recording medium 4 by a driving force operated at a coil 7. A coil frame 6 for securing the coil 7 is clamped at one end of the carriage 5 is a seeking direction with a screw 12. It is also clamped in the thickness direction of a recorder with a screw 13. Accordingly, an irregularity in the width of the connector of the frame 6 with the carriage 6 can be eliminated by a structure for clamping in the two perpendicular directions.
