Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a coil or a transformer which is formed through a simple automatic process without using a winding equipment, excellent in mass productivity, small in size, light in weight, and large in inductance and number ratio of winding.
CONSTITUTION: An insulating film 2 is possessed of at least one continuous turn part 3 on a plane and its ends connected together, a pattern composed of parallel conductors is formed on the insulating film 2, and external lead-out terminals are provided to the ends of the conductor pattern so as to form a spiral conductive line 4 on a flexible wiring board 1. The flexible wiring board 1 is sandwiched in between a pair of formed members 5a and 5b which are nearly U-shaped in cross section and possessed of comb-toothed legs on both the sides, and the formed members 5a and 5b are pressed to form the spiral conductive line 4 into a coil separating the adjacent rectilinear parts of the turn parts 3 from each other. A core is inserted into the window 6 of the coil.
