To make deflection to load fluctuation non-linear and improve riding comfort for automobile suspension, etc., by constituting a wave-shaped part with series and parallel parts in a coiled wave spring formed by multiplex winding angular wires worked into a wave shape in a cylindrical state.
In a coiled wave spring formed by multiplex winding angular wires worked into a wave shape in a cylindrical state, a wave-shaped part with a series part 1 and a parallel part 2 is constituted. The series part 1 is brought into opposite contact with the top and bottom of each wave, and the parallel wave shape part 2 is double-structured, the bottom part of which is brought into opposite contact with the top part of the series wave-shaped part 1 at an opposite contact part 4. When load is applied to such spring, the series wave-shaped part 1 is first deflected, then the parallel wave-shaped part 2 is deflected via the opposite contact part 4, thereby deflection to load fluctuation changes non-linearly, and for example, when it is applied to automobile suspension, etc., constant riding comfort can be assured regardless of whether the number of passengers or baggage is large or small.
