To provide a means for smoothly delivering coins to projection parts of a conveying belt.
A coin depositing/dispensing machine 3 includes: a feeding conveying passage 10 conveying coins fed from a deposit coin feeding part 9; a coin conveying passage 14 conveying coins C on a conveyance guide 16 while pushing the coins C by the projection parts 15a formed in the conveying belt 15; a coin delivery mechanism 17 disposed to face a connection part between the feeding conveying passage 10 and the coin conveying passage 14 and constructed of a delivery roller 18 and a pressure roller 19 clamping the front and back surfaces of the coins C conveyed by the feeding conveying passage 10; a projection part detection sensor 24 detecting passage of the projection parts 15a in a predetermined position; and a delivery coin detection sensor 23 detecting the coin C clamped by the delivery roller 18 and the pressure roller 19. When the coin C is detected by the delivery coin detection sensor 23, the delivery roller 18 is stopped. When the projection part 15a is detected by the projection part detection sensor 24, the delivery roller 18 is turned in the pushing direction to push the coin C onto the conveyance guide 16 to deliver it to the projection part 15a of the conveying belt 15.
