Abstract:
To provide a communication apparatus capable of more surely determining presence/absence of theft of one's own apparatus.SOLUTION: There are provided a facing apparatus information storage part 1031 for previously acquiring information of a facing communication apparatus 11 connected opposed to a communication port 1013 for connection to a network 30 as facing communication apparatus information to store it in a nonvolatile memory; an authentication control part 1032 for periodically performing communication for authentication with a network management apparatus 20 for managing communication of a network 30; and a control part 103 for determining presence/absence of theft of one's own communication apparatus 10 based on a comparison result obtained by comparing a newly acquired facing apparatus information with the facing communication apparatus information stored by the facing apparatus information storage part 1031 by newly acquiring information of an apparatus from the apparatus connected opposed to the communication port 1013 as facing apparatus information, when an operation in which a power source is restored after cutting off the power source of the one's own communication apparatus 10, in a state where periodical communication with the network management apparatus 20 is interrupted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
