Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently update an application in respective communication devices of which available communication bands are different.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises: a division size determination unit which determines a division size for dividing update data for an application executed by a first communication device into a plurality of pieces of data on the basis of band information indicating a band available for communication by the first communication device; a division unit which divides the update data into a plurality of pieces of data according to the division size determined by the division size determination unit; and a related information generation unit which generates related information relating to the plurality of pieces of data into which the division unit has divided the update data. A second communication device transmits the related information to the first communication device, and the first communication device performs update according to the related information by receiving update data divided into the division size.
